‘A new Angel’ reports The Sunday Age

Angel was born with a disfiguring growth from her forehead that covered her nose and mouth.  Children First brought her to Australia for surgery that transformed her life.

Journalist Julia Medew and photographer Eddie Jim met Angel and her father Dale at Children First’s Miracle sMiles Retreat as they prepared to leave for surgery at the Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide with Mr Walter Flapper and his team.

When Julia and Eddie returned eight weeks later they met the same happy child but with the beautiful smile revealed, and her very grateful father.
