Farewell and Welcome

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that after four amazing years, Michelle Mulligan, our Finance Manager, has moved on to a new role. Those of you who had the pleasure to get to know or chat with Michelle, will understand that she did so much more than manage our finances. Her breadth of skills and seemingly never-ending energy meant that she could be balancing the books one moment, fixing the photocopier the next, before zooming up to The Retreat to set up the IT system.

Michelle always made the time to speak to our supporters and never forgot a face – everyone was made to feel special. She was often heard saying “oh I just love our donors they are all so nice”.

Michelle was a popular visitor up at The Retreat, her ever-changing hair colour providing endless fascination for the girls. Her warm manner, big heart, and readiness to have a giggle and dance made her a firm favorite with the kids. Michelle has promised she’ll hang around as a volunteer, so no doubt we haven’t seen the last of her!

We are excited to welcome our new Finance Manager, Meghan Horwood. We are very fortunate to have Meghan, who comes to us with a wealth of experience in finance and accounting roles, most recently in the education and not-for-profit sectors.

Recruitment for our new Communications and Media Manager has been completed, and we are pleased to introduce Sarika Shah. Sarika has hit the ground running bringing with her an array of experience from the not-for-profit and private sectors.

Welcome to the Children First Foundation family.
