Join us for this fascinating and informative talk with renowned orthopaedic surgeon, Professor Minoo Patel.
Professor Patel’s passion is limb lengthening and deformity correction in adults and children, and upper limb surgery. He holds appointments at Epworth Richmond and Cabrini Hospital, having previously worked at Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital. He is also an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University, a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Research Fellow at Melbourne University and a Director and past Chair of the Australia Orthopaedic Association.
Professor Patel passionately believes that everyone deserves the best in healthcare irrespective of status in society. To help those in need is a special privilege given to doctors, and there is no greater pleasure than seeing a smile on a child’s face.
After his presentation, Professor Patel will be joined by Sonia Paua (a Children First Foundation patient currently undergoing treatment with Professor Patel), physiotherapist, Sue Bowman and Children First Foundation CEO, Elizabeth Lodge. They will each share their unique perspectives on this complicated surgery and answer your questions.
