Gifts in Memory or Celebration
Gifts in Memory
A special way to honor a loved one when they pass away is by donating in their memory. You can make a gift in memory at any time to celebrate the life of a loved one. You may choose to donate on a significant day each year or make a one-off donation.
If you’re arranging a funeral or memorial service you may also like to encourage friends and relatives to make a gift to Children First Foundation in memory or instead of flowers. Children First Foundation can help you to manage this process in way that best suits your needs and situation.
We can provide donation envelopes to be available at the memorial service and receipts and acknowledgement letters to the donors. Names of donors will also be forwarded to the family of the deceased.
Your ‘in memory’ gift will be used to support our work changing the lives of disadvantaged children and making sure they get the best chance to reach their potential.
If you wish Children First Foundation to receive In Memoriam donations when you pass away, it may be helpful to inform your friends and family, executor or include instructions in your Will.
Gifts in Celebration
If you’re celebrating a birthday, wedding or other special day consider asking your friends and family to donate to Children First Foundation instead of buying a gift for you. If you feel you already have everything you need ask your loved ones to give to someone who doesn’t.
You could try setting up a personalised online donation page through a platform like GoodCompany we already have our own wishlist for your friends to chose from. The link can then be easily emailed to all your friends and family and shared on social media. They can even leave you messages along with their donation so you won’t have to worry about carrying cards around your party!
Children First Foundation can help you to manage this process in a way that best suits your needs and situation. We can provide special donation envelopes to be available at your event and tax-deductible receipts can be sent directly to donors
